Dr. Linda Rönnberg is a Professor in Educational Work, at the Department of Applied Educational Science and affiliated to the University of Turku as a Senior Research Fellow.
Linda Rönnberg is a Professor at the Department of Applied Educational Science, Umeå University. Her research focuses on education governance and politics with a particular focus on evaluation, privatization and internationalization in preschool, compulsory and higher education. She is co-leader of the Perspectives on education politics and policy (PEPP) research profile.
Recent projects include research on marketisation, commercialisation and private actors in education, preschool, and school health services, as well as Swedish education export and policies of evaluation and internationalisation in higher education.
She is a co-editor of Education Inquiry, executive editor of the European Educational Research Journal and an editorial member board for: Journal of Education Policy, Critical Studies in Education, Journal of Educational Assessment, Evaluation and Accountability and Pedagogisk forskning i Sverige.
She teaches in teacher education programs and supervises doctoral students. Linda is also a Docent in Political Science and a former Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Turku.
