I am interested in using analytical mechanics and mathematical theory of nonlinear control systems to develop new algorithms for designing controllers for robotics and automation.
I am an Associate Professor (Docent) in Control Systems responsible for the Robotics and Control Group at the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, Umeå University. My research background is within classical mechanics and mathematical theory of nonlinear control systems. Currently, I am mostly working within robotics and automation, both basic and applied research, with emphasis on using mathematically justified new algorithms for designing control systems for various industrial applications.
