I am a PhD student at the Department of Informatics. My research is about digital activism and online social movements, with a specific focus on the green sustainability movement.
Environmental activism has existed for a long time, but digital technology has fundamentally changed the way we conduct it. Within my research I explore what role the technology plays for different actors that work towards engaging others with green sustainability. The actors included in my research are environmental organizations, individual entrepreneurs, and the public sector.
