My research focuses on investigating the reactivity of cement clinker produced using electricity (plasma) as an alternative energy source. Cement clinker is traditionally produced through the energy-intensive process of calcination using fossil fuels. By assessing the reactivity of the electrically produced cement clinker and comparing it to conventionally produced clinker, my study aims to determine the viability of electricity as a sustainable energy option in cement production.
