I am an Associate Professor (Docent) in Sociology and Psychology. I am particularly interested in how social and psychological factors interact to explain people's subjective well-being.
In addition to subjective well-being, I am also interested in factors such as psychosocial work environment, mental health, social isolation/loneliness, social status, and the significance of personality for various outcomes.
Since 2013, I have also been working to coordinate the Swedish participation in the European Social Survey (ESS) and the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE).
