My areas of competence are 20th-century Italian poetry, the interaction between literature and visual arts, as well as contemporary Italian literature seen in the light of theories and practices at the intersection between the humanities and natural sciences.
I also research on science dissemination in post-war Italy and on literary representations of the relationship between the human and the machine.
