My research concerns bacterial metabolites and their interactions within biofilms and discovering new ways to combat clinical bacteria using the potential of marine isolates' bacterial metabolites.

My goal is to combat bacterial infections and make a positive impact on society. I'm investigating external metabolites in mussels from the Black Sea for their potential in fighting bacteria.

I earned my master's degree from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University in Ukraine in 2018. Through my experiences in the chemistry industry and academia, I have got skills in wet lab techniques, teamwork, and scientific communication.

I am excited to attend the research environment of Umeå University and connect with scientists with various research backgrounds, as well as share my own experiences and knowledge. Moreover, I am looking forward to the chance to network with like-minded people and appreciate the beauty of Swedish nature with new friends.
