I have worked at the European CBRNE Center since 2019 and have previously studied international relations and crisis management. My involvement with CBRN-related matters is both civilian and military.
My background is largely linked to the military, where I have served in various operational areas. I have mostly served as an infantryman, but am now assigned to an anti-aircraft regiment where I serve as a CBRN officer (RO). I have a B.A. in Government with majors in International Relations and Business Administration from IDC Herzilya (Israel), and a MSc in Political Science with specialization in Crisis Management and Peacebuilding from Umeå University. My affiliation with the European CBRNE Center enables me to be involved in the civilian- as well as military field of CBRN. This enables me to get an insight in both areas of CBRN, giving me a unique understanding of the subject.
The mixture of theoretical knowledge and practical experience that I have accumulated so far has given me insights that I try to incorporate in the best way into the daily work of the European CBRNE Center.
