PhD student lead by Urban Hellman. My project focuses on the role of glucose metabolism in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
I started my studies in Czech Republic where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology. After moving to Sweden, I earned a master’s degree in Molecular Biology at Umeå University.
In my PhD research, my goal is to elucidate how changes in glucose metabolism affect the development of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy using an experimental mouse model. Additionally, I will investigate the role of hyaluronan metabolism in this disease.
