My research concerns bioenergy and resource recovery. I am studying biochar and ashes from residual streams with respect to water and soil applications and nutrient recycling.
My research is mainly in the area of sustainable bioenergy and resource recovery, where I am studying biochar and phosphorus-rich ashes from residual streams and characterizing those concerning parameters relevant for plant growth, affecting nutrient availability and soil physical properties. The characterization involves X-ray tomography, both in lab scale and at synchrotrons.
I will teach in the Master of Science program in Energy Engineering.
