My research field is chemistry and physics of surface and interfaces, especially in aqueous media, studied by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. I am manager of the XPS Platform.
I joined the Department of Chemistry at December 1999, as a Visiting Researcher, to run newly installed XPS (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) spectrometer. I became a Researcher in 2003 and Docent in Inorganic Chemistry in 2009. Nowadays, I am a manager of XPS Platform, which is an open infrastructure at UmU enabling users both within UmU and outside to obtain analyses of the chemical composition of their sample surfaces.
I am working in the field of XPS since 1983 and probably have seen almost all solids available at our planet from nature and industryJ. My ongoing research at the Department of Chemistry focuses mostly on novel applications of XPS to study chemistry of intact solid – aqueous solution interfaces.
