PhD-student within the CollAGE-research programme. Studying the collaboration between social services and spatial planning when planning for age-friendly communities in Swedish rural municipalities.
I have a bachelor's and a master (one year) degree in social work. I have experience from working in eldercare; within home care as well as at the social services (care manager). I have lectured at socionomprogrammet at Örebro University.
I am working towards my PhD within the CollAGE-research programme – a collaboration between the Institution of Social Work at Umeå University and Umeå School of Architecture. My thesis will be one out of six sub-studies within the programme. I will study if and how collaboration between social services (eldercare) and spatial planning takes place, when planning for age-friendly communities in Swedish rural municipalities.
I have experience from teaching subjects such as the history and expansion of social work, social politics, methodology and theory, work-practice and profession as well as supervising and guiding student work.
