My research focuses on polymeric PFAS as potential risk chemicals, investigating their fate and persistence in the environment using experimental and computational methods.
My research focuses on developing tools to characterize and identify polymeric per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as new and/or emerging risk chemicals (NERCs). We combine experimental environmental fate studies to assess the hazards posed by polymeric PFAS with AI methodologies for smart text mining utilizing natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning-based modelling.
