Young peoples voices: experiences of being depressed

Research project This project aims to highlight the voices and narratives of young people with depression and their close ones.

Mental health problems in young people are often measured by predefined assessment scales or structured clinical inerviews where we miss the subjective expriences of the person who seeks care and treatment. This project aims to highlight the voices and narratives of young people with depression and their close ones and brings up topics such as how they expereinced the causes of their depression, how they were met in the health care system, what helped and what could have been done differently, and how would they have liked to be met, udnerstood and treated.
