Transition. How to promote continuity and student progression in science subjects at the transition to high school?
The aim is to contribute with knowledge about science teaching in grades 4-6 (upper primary school) and how to work to ensure continuity of the science subjects during the transition to grades 7-9 (lower secondary school).

The research is practice-based and aims to establish development projects in collaboration with teachers where focus lies on developing working methods to promote student progression and retained interest in the natural sciences.
Upper primary school is somewhat sparsely researched and I hope my work will contribute to an increased understanding regarding science education during these school years.
