This research domain studies how teachers experience pupils’ group work in practical cooking situation within home and consumer studies (HCS). How is teachers’ work affected by group dynamics and group composition? And how do teachers feel it impacts the pupils’ opportunities to learn? These studies are based on video observations of group work during lessons in home and consumer studies from the pupils’ perspective.
