Hybrid energy solutions for buildings, and infrastructure (HYBES)

Research project HYBES project contributes to strengthen the capacity for climate change adaptation, and resource sufficiency in the northern periphery area communities, and also to promote energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions

HYBES project will develop energy solutions that contribute to buildings producing as much energy as they consume. The project will also investigate how to build up an infrastructure of renewable energy sources and storage that provides a stable system and focuses mainly on challenges in arctic areas. HYBES also has a specific task to raise the awareness of citizens, municipalities, energy producers and businesses.
