Digital technologies today are an obvious and integral part of people's everyday lives. Not least, it affects today's school and its pedagogy. GRADE focuses precisely on the digitalisation that takes place within pre-school, primary and secondary school and the after-school center, where there is a great need for new knowledge and competence.

GRADE - graduate school in digitalisation in schools
Six higher education institutions have merged and started a joint graduate school with an ambition to create new knowledge that can develop Swedish teacher education.
Combines different sciences
A basic starting point for GRADE is an interdisciplinary approach. Six subject areas are represented in the graduate school, all of which contribute with different perspectives in research aimed at the school's digitization.

Participating universities
The graduate school GRADE participates in University of Gothenburg, the University of Gävle, the University West, the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Mid Sweden, as well as Umeå University, which is the host university and coordinator of the project.
The graduate school GRADE brings together doctoral students and supervisors from the various universities. The aim is to develop digital technologies that can be used in education, such as the development of courses, and the research conducted in the field of digital development.
