PhD project
Inclusive Design, also named Design for All or Universal Design, is an approach to design that aims at designing ordinary products, services, strategies and environments that are accessible and attractive to the largest possible number of people.
Based on previously completed and coming projects within the area of inclusive design my thesis aims at exploring and probing different ways of understanding how design for inclusion looks like, what challenges we still are facing, from a detailed to an overall level. This in order to distinguish and enhance understanding for preconditions necessary for designing a sustainable, inclusive and democratic society.
