Research project Algorithms are transforming the workplace in various ways, from what constitutes work and how it is performed, to how work is managed and organized. However, our understanding of these changes, which affect safety, health, and well-being, is limited, especially beyond platform work.
The research program ALGOSH aims to bridge this knowledge gap and develop tools and strategies to reduce risks associated with algorithmic management in 'ordinary' industries. An international, interdisciplinary consortium of experts and stakeholders collaborates to explore the challenges and opportunities that algorithmic management brings, in order to create a safer and healthier work environment.
