Have you thought about what plants grow on campus? Or are you curious on which migratory birds that have found their way here? Join the Nature on Campus outdoor excursions on Umeå university campus! The excursions take place on six occasions with different themes.
During 2024, Nature on campus will arrange eleven activities from May to October. These activities will all be outdoor excursions on different topics and are aimed first and foremost to university employees and students who want to learn more about ecology, geology, and nature in general.
For all activities, we gather just before the given starting time at the large entrance to the KBC building (https://link.mazemap.com/2CyHysUJ). For all activities, dress according to weather conditions, especially if it is wet or cold. If the weather forecast the day before predicts heavy rain and/or strong winds, the activity will be cancelled. Information will then be posted on social media.
