AIM North

Research infrastructure AI for Medicine in Northern Sweden, AIM North, offers support with technical methods regarding machine learning and AI in clinical research projects. The center is available to researchers throughout the northern healthcare region.

It is important that the latest analysis methods in AI and machine learning benefit healthcare and can be applied to data from the clinical reality.

AIM North is a bridge between clinical researchers and cutting-edge technical method development and application. Researchers can get support through AIM North in everything from planning data collection to choosing analysis methods for already collected research data. We are here for you if you have a project idea or an ongoing project involving data, such as images, speech, time series, sounds, surveys, or other physiological data that can serve as a basis for further analyses.

Behind AIM North stands MT-FoU, Region Västerbotten, and the Department of Diagnostics and Intervention. Here, you will find high competence in AI, a translationally oriented operation, and extensive experience in working with clinical applications.
