Research group The research group is led by Prof. Sara Sjöstedt de Luna at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics.
We conduct research in functional data analysis and spatial statistics, working with modeling, prediction and nonparametric inference. We also conduct research within time series analysis with focus on automated forecasting methods and work with censored data problems. Research collaboration and application areas are within climate reconstruction, cloud computing, ecology, forestry, and remote sensing.
