A project at Umeå University is among those that receive the most in the country in the Swedish Research Council's call for interdisciplinary research environments.
The project Dismantling virus factories with Lars-Anders Carlsson at the Department of Medical Chemistry and Biophysics as project leader can look forward to a total of SEK 30 million from the Swedish Research Council during a six-year period from the grant Grants to interdisciplinary research environments.
Earlier this Autumn, it became clear that Lars-Anders Carlsson will receive SEK 24 million, for his research on viruses from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
