The Swedish Research Council has granted funding for a project from Umeå University for the years 2021–2024.
Gerhard Gröbner, Department of Chemistry, is granted SEK 7,200,000 for the project: MeDCAN - Methodology for deuteration, contrast variation and analysis for neutrons in cancer.
The research is carried out together with Hanna Wacklin-Knecht at Lund University and ESS (European Spallation Source, Lund) and Luke Clifton at ISIS Pulsed Neutron and Muon Source (Harwell, UK).
