The Swedish Research Council grants 25.2 MSEK to flavivirus project

The Swedish Research Council has granted 25.2 MSEK to the project Multimodal imaging and proteomics to study flavivirus replication and molecular disease mechanisms.
The project was awarded within the call Research environment grant within infection and antibiotics and is based on a coalition of research groups at Umeå University and the University of Helsinki, Finland. The project Multimodal imaging and proteomics to study flavivirus replication and molecular disease mechanisms is headed by Anna Överby Wernstedt at the Department of Clinical Microbiolgy. The co-applicants at Umeå University are Richard Lundmark, the Department of Integrative Medical Biology and WCMM Fellow Lars-Anders Carlson, the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics. From the University of Helsinki Sarah Butcher participates.
