Student selected for prestigious fellowship programme

Demet Sertoglu Tertemiz, master’s student in Business Development and Internationalisation at Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics, has been selected as a fellow in the highly esteemed 2025 DHL GoTrade GBSN Fellowship Program. This recognition follows a thorough and highly competitive selection process, highlighting Demet’s exceptional qualifications and potential for making significant contributions to international business.
The program connects postgraduate business students with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries to promote cross-border trade. Beginning in March 2025, the eight-month fellowship includes expert-led workshops, hands-on experience, and mentorship to enhance fellows’ skills.

Demet's extensive experience in international sales, marketing, and business development across diverse sectors—including consumer electronics, medtech, and cosmetics—made her an exceptional candidate for the fellowship.
