Professor Joakim Wincent at Umeå School of Business received the 2010 Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management's IDEA Awards in the though leader category for the paper "The Nature and Experience of Entrepreneurial Passion", published 2009 in Academy of Management Review. The paper is considered representative of the best published papers in entrepreneurship in 2009.
The award was presented at the 2010 Academy of Management Meeting in Montréal. The Entrepreneurship Division awards scholarships in three categories: foundational; thought leader; and research promise.
