The annual Nordic Cybercrime conference took place October 22-23, this year arranged by the Department of Law and DIGSUM at Umeå University.
Due to Covid-19 the conference moved online. The conference is cross-disciplinary and gathers researchers from several different fields with a common interest in the consequences of digitalization for criminality, policing and the rule of law.
-It felt good that we managed to get the conference together this year after all, we also got a broader turnout with more participants from beyond the nordic countries which was nice to see, says Markus Naarttijärvi who organized the conference.
Keynote speaker was Marion Oswald from the University of Northumbria. Her research covers the interaction between law and digital technology.
