NEWS Umeå University students, staff, teachers, researchers and alumni are welcome to nominate candidates for the post as new pro-vice-chancellor.
You can propose anyone you see fit, as long as they fulfil the eligibility requirements. Nominees do not need to be consulted – even if it is beneficial.
The current Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Umeå University, Katrine Riklund, will leave the University at the end of June 2025. Make your nomination or expression of interest by 8 January 2025. The University Board will decide on who it will be in April 2025.
