The north2north exchange programme within the University of the Arctic network is now announcing places for the coming academic year.
– Students get the opportunity to discover other cultures and landscapes at the Arctic Circle while being given the opportunity to broaden their studies and study a semester at one of our partner universities, says Emma Akgöz, international coordinator at the International Office.
Applications from all subject areas are welcome and students who study with a focus on the Arctic or who can justify their connection and dedication to the north are given priority.
– Umeå University receives students from all over the world every year and this is our chance to send Umu students as ambassadors to our neighbors in the North, Emma Akgöz continues.
The places are university-wide, which means that they are open for all registered students at Umeå University to apply. You must have completed at least 60 credits at Umu before departure, and the exchange can be between 3-10 months.
The application period opens 15 December. Last day to apply is January 15, 2021 for the academic year 2021/2022.
The International Office offers a digital information session on December 16 and drop-in opportunities in Zoom on December 17, January 7, January 12 and January 15.
