EU Horizon 2020 grants for smarter and more efficient resource management for future cloud computing

Erik Elmroth and Per-Olov Östberg will lead the Umeå University research in two EU Horizon 2020 projects targeting the next generation distributed infrastructure for cloud computing for processing big data.
The two projects, RECAP and ACTiCLOUD, have a total budget of nearly 9 million EUR of which 1.2 M EUR will finance Umeå University.
