NEWS In evenings on Thursday and Friday 2–3 September, the outer doors on Campus Umeå buildings will not be openable for students. The same applies day and night on Saturday and Sunday 4–5 September. The underlying reason is the ongoing rounders tournament, Brännbollscupen.
Between 2 and 5 September, Campus Umeå buildings are unaccessible to students during evenings and the weekend.
ImageMostphotosAs Brännbollscupen is played Thursday to Saturday this weekend, buildings on Campus Umeå will not be accessible to students evenings on Thursday and Friday or during the weekend. Staff have access to buildings as usual using their Umu cards and passcodes. Daytime on Thursday and Friday, ordinary opening hours apply. The University Library is accessible during library opening hours.
This precaution is taken each year during Brännbollscupen to minimise misuse of university premises.
