Codemill, a spin-off company from Umeå University, with a new investment of SEK 30 million, opens offices in Los Angeles, London and Japan and prepare for a launch on the stock market.

“We will increase the number of employees from 60 to 80 this year and open sales offices in Los Angeles, London and Japan, says Johanna Björklund, co-founder and chief technology officer, and also researcher at the Department of Computer Science, to the web page DI Digital, first with the news.
Codemill has its expertise in digital video processing and has developed within Accurate Video a cloud-based video tool.
The ambition is to continue to grow strongly and the company is now looking for more employees, including CFO, Deputy CEO, Sales Manager, Senior and Junior developers in user design and international sales to the USA, England or Sweden.
Stock market introduction is also on the agenda.
“Preparations for an IPO begin at the end of the year. We are aiming for the Nasdaq First North Growth Market,” says Johanna Björklund to DI Digital.
