Clinical research career at WCMM - combined tenure track positions open for application

Two types of combined tenure track positions are now open at the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) at Umeå University - Assistant Professor combined with specialist medical training (ST) or clinical practice as specialist physician or dentist. The areas of research for the Wallenberg Molecular Medicine Fellows are cancer, infection biology, metabolic diseases including diabetes and neurosciences.
WCMM offers up to eight clinical tenure track positions at Umeå University, as Assistant Professors combined with clinical practice at the Västerbotten County Council. A comprehensive WCMM support package is included for each position, with funds equivalent to 1 postdoctoral associate, 1 PhD student and 4.5 million SEK för running costs. The successful candidates will work in strong research environments and have access to excellent local and national research infrastructures including unique collections of longitudinal samples in existing biobanks.
