Anna Clark from the Australian Centre for Public History, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia visits the Department of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies and the research group History of Education from April 20th to June 20th, 2013. During her stay as a guest professor at the department she will teach the PhD Course ”Historiedidaktik” (History didactics) and present her research at a seminar in History of education.
Anna Clark is a researcher in public history at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. Her research focus is Australian public history and teaching and she has published a number of titles within the field, the latest work with the title History’s Children: History Wars in the Classroom (UNSW Press, 2008).
Clark is a guest professor at the Department of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies and the research group History of Education from April 20th to June 20th, this year. During her stay she is the main teacher at the PhD Course ”Historiedidaktik” (History didactics). Anna will also present her research on May 15th at the seminar ”Connecting to the past: how Australians see their history” within the seminar series History of education. Her guest research fellowship is made possible by the University funded program “Utbildningshistoria med historiedidaktik” (Educational history with history didactics).
