On 25th September 2024, we held an all-day conference at the Department of Applied Educational Sciences (TUV) where colleagues presented and discussed current research in pedagogical work. The conference showcased an impressive breadth of theoretical and empirical perspectives on topics such as education policy, social justice, inclusion and diversity, digitalization and career guidance. The research presented covered several parts of the education system, from higher education and teacher education to primary school, preschool and the 'culture school'.
The organizing group, Nafsika Alexiadou, Maria Rönnlund and Linda Rönnberg, emphasised the great relevance of the research for professionals and its importance for the further development of education practices, its governance and organization.
