7 million SEK from the Swedish cancer society to research within UCMR

Research projects where UCMR affiliated researchers are principal applicants receive more than 7 million SEK from the Swedish cancer society's autumn call in 2022.

Niklas Arnberg, Department of Clinical Microbiology, receives 3 000 000 SEK to the project: Adenovirus entry mechanisms: Implications for selection, design, and development of carcinoma-targeting vectors. Project period: 2023-01-01 to 2025-12-31.
Anna Arnqvist, Department of Medical Biochemistry, receives 1 200 000 SEK to the project: Helicobacter pylori - Molecular mechanisms for persistent infection, inflammation and development of gastric cancer. Project period: 2023-01-01 to 2024-12-31.
Nasim Sabouri, Department of Medical Biochemistry, receives 3 000 000 SEK to the project: G-quadruplex DNA structures – potential therapeutic targets in cancer therapy. Project period: 2023-01-01 to 2025-12-31.
