Pathfinder
From early technology to pre-commercial.
The EIC Pathfinder programme aims to support early-stage collaborative projects for novel ideas with high-risk/high gain approach and the potential to create new markets for radically new technologies.
A consortium of minimum 3 partners from academia or industry can work together to develop an innovative technology, based on science-towards-technology breakthrough research, up to the point of proof of principle.
Accelerator (including equity investment)
From pre-commercial to market and scale-up.
A programme and funding instrument for deployment of innovation to market for SMEs and start-ups that develop breakthrough innovation projects with high growth potential. The projects must be high-risk and contribute to a radical transformation of the market. Winners receive funding and support that can add up to a maximum of €2.5m in grants and €0,5-15m in equity investment. Applications are made in several steps, preliminary during spring and summer 2021
HE Health
Horizon Europe is the research and innovation framework programme running 2021-2027.
The health cluster is part of the so-called second pillar, Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness, which aims to support technological and industrial capacity and enable solutions that underpin EU policies and sustainable development goals.
The first work programmes are expected to be published by April 2021.
