At the faculty's departments, centres and units, research and education is conducted in one or more subject areas.
Almost 900 people work as teachers, researchers and technical and administrative staff at eleven departments and a number of centres at the Faculty of Social Sciences. With approximately 7,700 full-time equivalents, the Faculty represents a large part of the university's programmes and course offerings.
