The Faculty of Medicine is engaged in education and research in the fields of medicine, odontology and health care. The Faculty comprises of 12 departments, 7 research centres, and has about 3,400 active students and about 450 at the third-cycle level. The Faculty has approximately 1100 employees, of which 45 percent are teachers/researchers.
