Minor Field Studies is a scholarship that makes it possible for final-year students at bachelor's or master's level to carry out degree projects abroad. Join us at this digital information meeting and learn more about the application.
With the scholarship, you can travel to a low- or middle-income country to collect material for your thesis or degree project. The field study must last for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks and the scholarship is SEK 35,000. The last day to apply is 15 April.
To apply for a scholarship there are certain criteria you must meet. You must be a registered student at Umeå University, be proficient in English and preferably have basic knowledge of Swedish, be a Swedish citizen or have a permanent residence permit in Sweden. If you are from another Nordic country but not a Swedish citizen you must have been registered in the Swedish Population Registry for at least one year.
