Abstract: We will discuss different types of stochastic games. In particular, we will introduce the concept of Nash equillibria for pure and mixed strategies. After studying the standard setting, we will move on to consider games in which the existence of competition is unknown, i.e., when we are "playing with a ghost". We will conclude by briefly discussing some recent results on ghost games. The latter parts of the talk are based on collborations with E. Ekström (Uppsala University), A. Milazzo (Uppsala University) and K. Lindensjö (Stockholm University).

Urban Cegrell - a mathematical artist
Abstract: Urban defended his doctoral dissertation at Uppsala University in 1975 in pluripotential theory. In this seminar, we will briefly talk about his most significant contribution concerning the complex Monge-Ampère equation, where the focus will be on the latter part of his career. We will end with talking about the two conjectures Urban worked intensively with right into the last stage of life. Urban passed away at the age of 78 in June 2021.
