Welcome to a lunch seminar with guest lecturer Corrine Noel Knapp from the University of Wyoming
Full title: Understanding and Measuring Transformative Capacity: A Collaboration with Community-Based Organizations and Climate Service Providers
Corrine Noel Knapp, an Associate Professor at the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at The University of Wyoming, delves into the intersection of climate change, conservation, and livelihoods. Her research employs a social-ecological approach to explore climate change adaptation, local and indigenous knowledge, sense of place, and conservation innovation. Passionate about Western landscapes and rangelands, Knapp is dedicated to the human and ecological communities that rely on these environments. In this talk she will present results from a project where she collaborates with the Western Water Assessment and the North Central Climate Science Adaptation Center to develop actionable climate information.
A light vegetarian lunch will be available from 11:45 and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
This is a part of UTRI Transformation Talks and is co-organised with the Department of Political Science.
