Arctic Center and NEON present Maria Wennberg who will talk about a food frequency questionnaire.
Maria Wennberg is a doctor in Environmental medicine, and responsible for the modernization of Västerbotten's FFQ. FFQ is a food frequency questionnaire which is used in two large population-based surveys in the arctic parts of Sweden. The surveys have been ongoing since the mid-1980s and together they form the largest population-based dietary survey in the north. But how do you best reflect the eating habits of a northern population over time, when potatoes and rice have been replaced by quinoa and black pudding and palt has been replaced by quorn? A dilemma that Maria Wennberg will describe for us.
The lecture is a joint arrangement between the Arctic Centre and NEON, the network for nutritional epidemiology in Umeå.
The lecture will be held in English.
