Umeå Arctic Forum (UAF) is a meeting place where decision-makers, civil society, industry and researchers can discuss issues of sustainable development from a northern perspective. This year's Arctic Forum is based on the Vindelälven-Juhttátahkka Biosphere Reserve, which was established in 2019 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It will serve as an area where new practical models for sustainable economic, ecological and social development in northern Sweden and the Arctic are created and showcased.
