Welcome to Umeå University’s Annual Celebration!
This year’s Annual Celebration Ceremony (in Swedish Årshögtiden) takes place on 21 October 2023.
During the morning lectures are held by the honorary doctors, new professors and award recipients. Each lecture is about 20 minutes long and all the lectures are open to the public. The lecture program will be published later.
The Ceremony takes place in Aula Nordica. The Ceremony includes the conferment of honorary doctors, the installation of new professors and the presentation of awards for scientific achievement and medalists. The Ceremony is open to the public. The audience must be seated by 16:50.
