Welcome to Umeå University’s Annual Celebration!
This year’s Annual Celebration Ceremony (in Swedish Årshögtiden) takes place on 19 October 2024.
During the morning lectures are held by the honorary doctors, new professors and scientific award recipients. Each lecture is about 20 minutes long and all the lectures are open to the public. The lecture program will be published later.
The Ceremony takes place in Aula Nordica. The Ceremony includes the conferment of honorary doctors and the inauguration of new professors. The Ceremony is open to the public. The audience must be seated by 16:50.
