The SAIS workshop has since its first edition been a forum for building the Swedish AI research community and nurture networks across academia and industry. The main purpose of SAIS 2019 is to meet across national AI initiatives to further grow the AI network in the Nordic countries. We invite AI researchers and practitioners in Sweden and neighbouring countries, as well as related research disciplines and industry to join us in Umeå!
Invited keynote speakers: Associate Professor Joanna J. Bryson, Reader (associate professor) at the University of Bath.
Professor Barry O’Sullivan, Fellow and President of the European Artificial Intelligence Association (EurAI), one of the world’s largest AI associations with over 4500 members in over 30 countries.
Professor Virginia Dignum, WASP Professor of Social and Ethical Artificial Intelligence at Umeå University, and associated with the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
Professor Marcus Liwicki, professor at Luleå University of Technology and a senior assistant in the University of Fribourg.
