Young will talk about the first treatment with cortisone, which was performed at the Mayo Clinic and quickly won a Nobel Prize. It was to revolutionize the treatment of inflammatory conditions.

William F. Young Jr. is the Tyson Family Endocrinology Clinical Professor and Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which is the highest ranked hospital in the United States. He is a world authority on endocrinology and a great lecturer. He has received numerous awards for his educational efforts and has previously served as President of the Endocrine Society in the United States and Director of Endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic.

The seminar will be held in English.
